We will post news from Farm Markets, Fruits and Vegetables and Turf in News/Updates. Each subsection will specify which division the topics relate to. For example Farm Markets will state at the top of each subsection: FarmMarkets.

We will post price changes, corrections updates and news about our Cooperative.

If you have any suggestions about topics, please let us know.

2009 Earnings Feb 3, 2010

The audited results are in for 2009! Members of the Co-op will be receiving patronage checks soon. Farm Markets patrons will receive a refund of 5.5% of the business conducted in 2009. Specialty crops (fruit and vegetable) and turf patrons will receive a refund of 5.2% of business conducted in 2009. These are both record numbers for us and we are proud to be able to return the earnings back to our members!

Chemical update

Our annual chemical update will be February 25, 2010 at The Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana.

Invitations have been mailed. Please send in response if you plan to attend.

Chemical prices, overall, for 2010 are similar to 2009. Penncozeb is down significantly while Captan is up quite a bit. Roundup and it's generics are also down quite a bit. Our price list should be available before the chemical meeting.
